Goldsystem Ltd was founded in 1984 by the current Director, Malcolm Heskins, as an electrical contractor working in both domestic and commercial markets.
Within two years we added both security and fire alarms to our range of services, followed in 1986 by computer networking in the commercial sector.
As our success continued we were increasingly asked by our clients to adopt additional services. As time went on, we added the design, provision and maintenance of CCTV systems, the design and construction of computer rooms, raised access flooring, office refurbishment, facilities management, plumbing and building services to our service portfolio. By 1992 we were able to offer a complete design, build and maintenance service for almost any type of premises.
The company continued in this manner until the turn of the century, always looking to add new services and products to our portfolio, remaining at the cutting edge of the construction industry.
In 2002 the company took the decision to reign back on its construction interests and focus once again on its core business of electrical services and technology, due in no small part to the development of ‘Smart Home’ technologies.
The company expanded into the design and installation of intelligent lighting systems, multi-room audio video installations and home cinema design and construction. We specialise, however, in elegant integration solutions, allowing the seamless linking of all the disparate technologies now found within most buildings and homes.
By 2008 we had began to offer enterprise level IT support.
We currently provide a complete Facilities Management service for all UK based offices of a large multi-national PLC, and provide IT support and occasional facilities services for numerous offices throughout the greater London area.
We are, and always have been, a family owned business with a passion for our work. We have never advertised; almost all of our work comes from personal recommendation.
